It's easier if I don't think that each and every post has to be this long, well-developed essay, perfectly crafted, elegant. Not that they were that way anyhow, but I wanted them to be.
This year, I go for getting something down and worrying about the rest later.
Besides life is short. I heard on Sunday that someone I knew years ago walked into Lake Washington back in September. She had been depressed and felt that there was no one who would/could take care of her. I'm sad she did it, though I wish I could get rid of the nagging suspicion that she had shoved stones into her pockets.
People have the right to end their lives when they need to or want to, but mimicking a famous writer is a weird fangirl thing to do at the end.
